Angel’s Trick

Streaming my consciousness regarding the recent injustices during these troubling times.

this is just for me to sort out my thoughts, don’t mind me.

there are so much bad things going on around the world right now, and my heart is so heavy with sorrow.

I can never understand why people go so far with their hatred just because they have different beliefs, upbringing, ideologies, race, gender, sexuality, skin color or just someone so different from you Maybe you had one bad experiences, maybe a few, maybe it’s because of gossip or the media… but it shouldn’t let you generalize a whole group full of malice, prejudice, and hate. Just because you don’t understand, doesn’t mean it’s right for you to dehumanize people like this. It only shows your true colors.

I am lucky. I am lucky I am able to eat food every day, a roof over my head, privileges that a lot of people don’t have. Although I face things because I am a female, living in a patriarchal society, coming from a third-world country, it’s nothing compared to what other people go through every single day. It’s so unfair. It breaks my fucking heart.

Sure there’s a little progress, but it’s not enough. It’s just simply to treat every person with compassion and kindness. Treat everyone like we’re humans. We are all the same. That’s all there is to it. Why is that so hard? It’s so evil.

I understand that I can’t understand what they go through every day, but it doesn’t mean I am not going to fight for what’s right, it doesn’t mean I can’t be angry. I will stand by them, be compassionate, and treat everyone the same way.

And I hope you feel the same.
